Congratulations!

Mike received a phone call from Fire Admin on Tuesday, July 3rd. He is being temporarily promoted to Fire Captain! The position will turn permanent in November or December of this year. Mike has worked very hard for this promotion over the last year. It is a great honor to have a husband who loves to help the community we live in, as well as, taking extraordinary care of his family and looking out for their well-being. Congrats to Mike! Love, Your Family!

This is a cool picture that we have of Mike after a fire they put out. He was "cleaning-up" and some sheetrock fell from the ceiling and came crashing down on top of his head. It just so happened that the Fire Dept. photographer was watching and got this great picture!

Havin' Fun

This is one of my favorite pictures of me with the kids. We are at Glamis Sand Dunes in January. That is our family's favorite past-time. If you don't see us from November -March we're at the DUNES! The kids love to have fun in the Rhino that I got and they both ride their quads rather well.

I did it!

I finally gave in to peer pressure and joined the latest band wagon of blogging! I know MANY of my extended family members will be extremely happy about this! It's a great way to keep up on family happenings. So, for those of you who have been waiting and buggin' me for this...ENJOY! :-)
