Mike received a phone call from Fire Admin on Tuesday, July 3rd. He is being temporarily promoted to Fire Captain! The position will turn permanent in November or December of this year. Mike has worked very hard for this promotion over the last year. It is a great honor to have a husband who loves to help the community we live in, as well as, taking extraordinary care of his family and looking out for their well-being. Congrats to Mike! This is a cool picture that we have of Mike after a fire they put out. He was "cleaning-up" and some sheetrock fell from the ceiling and came crashing down on top of his head. It just so happened that the Fire Dept. photographer was watching and got this great picture!

Captain huh? To sweet. Seems like yesterday we were sitting in Vegas and you were talking about wanting to be a Fireman and now your Captain. Awesome.
