Carlee and Karissa were playing with their backs to the water, the tide came in and surprised them,

they jumped up and tried to run away!

We were able to get away for Fall Break (even though the kids came down w/ something a few days before but they recovered quickly and were fever free for 48 hrs before we left). We went to visit some friends who live in Ventura County, California. Greg and Mike went to the Fire Academy together way back when, but Greg and Melissa grew homesick but received a call that they had been waiting for...Greg was hired w/ LA County Fire! They moved back home and we've missed them since.

We had a FABULOUS visit, YUMMY food and a GORGEOUS beach day!
