Science 101

Logan had to choose a science experiment that he could share in class. He had to give the hypothesis, how, why, what, etc. while showing the class the experiment. (GEEZE! I can't wait till he's in junior high if this is what first grade is like!) Any how, he choose an experiment (from a book grandma gave him, thanks grandma!) that incorporated lemons, copper wire, paperclips -because of the zinc in them and a blue LED light bulb. What, do you ask, will all these things do together??? Because of the acid in the lemons, the copper and zinc it creates enough electricity to power a light bulb! Yes, it's true! Logan even drew a diagram and preformed the experiment perfectly! The class was amazed and the others kids wanted to do the same experiment! Hee, hee. The teacher said they needed to pick their own and do something different. Logan got a round of applause!
GO LOGAN! A big THANKS to dad who helped him put it all together and practice, repeatedly!
